If You Go...

Upon arrival Iquitos

After clearing Immigration and Customs, exit to the main parking lot where your Explorama guide will meet you. He will be wearing a white polo shirt with bright orange letters spelling out Explorama Lodges and he will be your guide throughout your stay. If you happen to miss this meeting go directly to Explorama's bus with the same bright orange lettering and you will be taken care of.

In the highly unlikely event that neither the guide nor bus is there, and this can happen only if Explorama has not been advised of your flight arrival information, call Explorama's office at 25-3301 to arrange for pick up. REMEMBER: We must have your exact flight arrival information.

Prior to departure your guide will collect your outbound ticket, reconfirm your flight and upon arrival at the airport, pre-clear your seating assignment. After this, Customs will inspect your luggage for drugs, plants, endangered species, etc.

What to Bring, What to Wear

  • A valid passport and photocopy of the picture page to be used by Explorama to reconfirm your outbound flight.
