Copan and Quirigua Overnight (2days/1night - Tuesday departure only)
(Day One) - Early morning drive through the eastern part of Guatemala via the states of El Progresso and Zacapa to arrive at the border with Honduras. After immigration formalities you will drive to Copan where you will be allowed to view the beautiful stela and majestic temples. In the afternoon you will return to Guatemala territory to Rio Hondo for overnight accommodations at the Hotel Longarone.
(Day Two) - Morning transfer to the archaeological site of Quirigua where some of the most interesting and beautiful Maya stelae (zoomorphic) are found. In the afternoon you will return to Guatemala City to your hotel.
