Copan, Quirigua and Rio Dulce 4days/3nights (Monday departure only)
(Day One) - Early morning drive through the eastern part of Guatemala via the states of El Progresso and Zacapa to arrive at the border with Honduras. After immigration formalities you will drive to Copan to explore the beautiful stelae and temples. In the afternoon you will return to Guatemala territory to Rio Hondo for overnight at the Hotel Longarone.
(Day 2) Morning transfer to the archaeological site of Quirigua to see some of the most interesting and beautiful Maya stelae -- many of zoomorphic shapes. Later continue to the Puerto Barrios are for overnight at the Green Bay Hotel. (B)
(Day 3) In the morning after breakfast the tour continues with a launch ride to the Caribbean city of Livingston for some easy, casual sightseeing and later travel down the Rio Dulce by boat to the Catamaran Hotel for overnight with a stopover at the Castillo de San Felipe. (B)
Day 4) Morning at leisure before traveling back to Guatemala City to your hotel.(B)
